Waterproofing

I have been waterproofing for 20 years and have been trained and accredited by Mapei.

I only use Mapie high quality materials and go beyond the Australian standards so that you don’t have to worry about a leaking shower again.

Demolition

I can full strip your wet areas back to the start so everything is started from scratch again and done properly.

I will cover everything up and leave the job clean while im there and when I am done.

Silicone

Silicone is very important. I only use high quality silicones that last and have good movement. I use it in all corners of showers so if there is any movement, the silicone moves with the wall and no cracks appear and no more leaks happen.

I also use it on vanity tops or around windows, doors, cupboards or anywhere were there is movement and the grout cracks and comes off.

Screeding

Before a wet area is started, it is screeded with a cement and sand based screed so that the floor can have its desired fall to the floor waists, and at this stage, you install or make space for your channel drains.

It is a very important stage of my work.

It is the base, and sets up how everything is going to work. Every good job starts with a perfect base.

Custom made channel drains

I can supply and custom make channel drains in any length for Showers or Balconies. They are perfect additions to showers and balconies as they make them look more luxurious .

They are also great for walk in showers as you can fall the whole shower to the wall away from the opening.

Leaking shower package

If your shower is leaking but you don’t want to strip your whole bathroom I can help. I can strip the shower and hob down to the base.

In older houses, they never used waterproof or if they had, it wasn’t applied properly.

Once your grout is cracked or cleaned with harsh chemicals it gets eaten away or scrubbed away with time, than water gets in and goes through your walls and that’s when your paint starts flaking on the other side of the wall and you have damaged walls, and skirting or floor boards start expanding ect.

So that’s when I come in, and if you like, I can supply the tiles from my small selection.

I will get the shower screen removed and re installed at the end, or if you want a new shower screen I can organize that into the package. I can also change the tap fittings so that you don’t have to lift a finger and get a complete job done from start to finish.

I will strip the walls and floor down to scratch, and if there’s any loose eaten away plaster, I can also remove it and replaster it.

I can screed the floor with the proper fall and give it a full waterproofing system.

Than lay the tiles, grout, silicon all the corners of the shower, matching the color to the grout, And install any new fittings and Have the shower screen re installed.

Than in 24 hours its ready to use .

I can make it the size you want, and make it properly waterproofed and all so you don’t have to buy those metal and glass stands that end up rusting or corroding making your showers look old and not very nice.
